Message from the London Amateur Radio Club
The topic for the Thursday Jan 8th Meeting will be
Ham Radio Applications of PIC Single Chip Microcontrollers.
An introduction to PIC Single Chip Microcontrollers will be presented,
including their key features and benefits, an overview of their
architecture, software and hardware as well as a demonstration
of software development and chip programming.
A number of applications to ham radio will be discussed,
and a PIC based single chip iambic keyer with memory and other
features will be demonstrated.
The presentation will be at an introductory level and an introduction
to the computer concepts used will be given, so even those who are
not familiar with computers will get something out of this session.
