October 13, 2005 Meeting
Practical Robotics

Since shortly after Eric's presentation on applications of the PIC microprocessor on Jan 8, 2004 Doug, Andrew and Eric have been building experimental Robots using PICs and other technologies, including 30 Terra hertz (i.e. infrared) remote control.

The presentation started with a brief overview of the basics of simple robots, followed by details of a certain aspect of each robot's design and construction by the respective builder.

The presentation was well received by the audience.

The meeting concluded with a live demonstration of each robot.
