LARC Flea Market 2003

The 2003 LARC flea market was a great success. (Click on the pictures below for a larger one, then the browser back button to return).

The location for the event was the Special Event Building at the Western Fair Grounds. As usual, a large lineup formed before the doors opened at 9:00 AM.

The $6.00 admission being collected by volunteers Kathy Mundinger VE3GYL and Shirley McCall- Nicholson VE3SMN not only got attendees into the flea but gave them a chance to win one of many door prizes. After passing the watchful eyes of David Young VE3EAY on security detail the attendees eagerly entered the show floor.

In this panoramic view you can see the wide variety of vendors at this years event.

Radioworld had a large stock of brand new radios and accessories, and Bob Morton VE3BFM from Maple Leaf Communications was there with a wide array of antenna products and parts. Radio Amateurs of Canada RAC Southern Region Director R. D. (Bob) Cooke VE3BDB and other volunteers staffed the informational RAC booth, and many took the opportunity to join or renew their membership.

Anne Skipp VA3FRO and Brian Bouckley VA3ATB hold some of the many door prizes, and James Kobler VE3XIO prepares make the draw for the next winner from the drum held by Vice-President Tom Cobban VA3TAC. On the right LARC membership director Carlo Cervoni VE3CVA signs up new and renewal members, who will be eligible for for the draw to WIN a $100.00 Radioworld Gift Certificate for those who Join or Renew their LARC membership on or before the December meeting.

A hearty THANKS to all the volunteers, vendors and attendees who attended this year's LARC flea market, and provided feedback to help us make next year even better. See you at next year's LARC Ham Radio Flea Market!
