To do the review test for one of the chapters in the Studyguide:
- Make sure you have a printout of this file handy.
- go to this website: http://www.coaxpublications.ca/
- on the left side of the window, click on "Student Success Pages"
- Under "Invoice Number", type 69811448 and hit the ENTER key
- You'll be asked for some information that's in the file from step 1 above
- Type in the requested information, followed by the ENTER key
- Click on "Basic Qualification" on the left side of the window
- Click on one of the little white circles to select a chapter to review
- Click on "Review a Chapter" on the left side of the window
- You'll now get the first in a series of questions from the exam bank
- click on what you think is the right answer.
- If you get it wrong, you will see a message identfying the section in the studyguide to review
- If you get it right, it will tell you that, and let you go on to the next question
- When you've done enough of that chapter, hit "Finished - Return to Student Success" on the left
- To do another chapter, go back to step 7 above
- To finish altogther, just close your browser.
You can try a sample exam, of a selectable length, by changing step 9 above to be:
click on the "Try a Sample Exam" button on the left side of the window.The sample exams don't tell you what the correct answer was when you make a mistake, or what section of the Study guide to review, so you may want to do some chapter by chapter review if you want to get some detailed feedback.
Writing practice exams to get ready for your ham licence exam:
1) downloadable software from the RAC website that will generate test exams:
